Society Limonta x Interni – “Design: The Theater of Excellence”

Once again this year, Society Limonta is taking part in an exhibition celebrating excellence in Italian design, organized by INTERNI Magazine and ITA-Italian Trade Agency in New York.

“DESIGN: THE THEATER OF EXCELLENCE” is on display at the New York headquarters of ITA (Italian Trade Agency), located at 33 E 67th St., the former residence of Jacqueline Bouvier, from May 12 to July 15, 2026, as part of the fourth edition of Italy on Madison.
The exhibition project, curated by Paola Navone and Cristina PEttenuzzo - OTTO Studio, is a tribute to the Made in Italy and the iconic products that have earned worldwide recognition for their theatricality and design excellence. A grand curtain welcomes visitors at the entrance, introducing a sequence of stage-like settings inspired by Italy’s most iconic places. Within these scenes, furniture, objects, textiles and fragrances, fashion, and even food and wine become the protagonists of a collective and immersive narrative.

A carefully curated selection of Society Limonta’s iconic products takes part in this contemporary imaginary Grand Tour across Italy: Nuance and Kid throws are featured in Venice; Ninho towels in Rimini; the Bon napkin and Onda porcelain pieces in the Food & Wine area; and the Peg throw in the display dedicated to Cortina.
